Marine-style posts give you both a clamp connection and a threaded stud, so you can run accessories off the terminal without stacking eyelets under the clamp bolt.

The anti-corrosion washers matter more than they sound – most terminal failures start as corrosion between the clamp and the post, not on the outside where you can see it.
