Aftermarket 105mm Alloy Gear Shift Extension to suit Toyota LandCruiser 70 Series

Anyone who's done a long day in a 79 knows the gear lever sits low and a long way forward. This 105mm alloy extension screws in between the lever and your knob and brings the shifter up to where your hand actually falls.

Will it fit my 79 Series ute?
It's made for the 70 Series manual shifter, including the 79 single and dual cab. Unscrew your knob and check the thread is the same as shown in the photos.

How do I install a gear shift extension?
Unscrew the knob, screw the extension onto the lever, then screw the knob onto the top of the extension. Snug it up with a lock nut if you've got one. Five minute job.

Does a longer shifter make the throw longer?
A little, yes, because the lever is longer. Most blokes find it more comfortable anyway, as you're not reaching down to the floor for every change.
