A ready-made AN6 trans cooler line kit for GM automatics. Two 7 ft (2.1 m) PTFE lines with hose ends already fitted, plus the fittings to go into the trans and the cooler.

Frequently asked questions

What size trans cooler lines do I need?
AN6 suits almost every street automatic, including the TH350, TH400, 700R4 and 4L60E. Bigger lines will not improve cooling on a street car.

Can I use PTFE hose for transmission cooler lines?
Yes. PTFE handles hot trans fluid well and is a good choice near exhausts. Use PTFE hose ends, which come pre-fitted on these lines.

Do AN fittings need thread tape or sealant?
No. The seal is made on the 37 degree flare, not the thread, so keep tape and sealant off the AN side. Only the NPT (tapered pipe) end of an adapter needs sealant.
