If you’ve bought a new steering wheel for your 2023+ 70 Series and you own a GX or Workmate, the factory clock spring does NOT have the plug for steering wheel buttons or cruise control.

On top of that, most suppliers still send out the old-style pre-2023 clock springs with no SAS (Steering Angle Sensor). If you fit one of those, your dash will throw a traction control light, and the system won’t calibrate.

Bottom line:

GX & Workmate owners cannot install a button steering wheel without the correct updated clock spring + harness.
