Proper Power Delivery matters if you are running a laptop or a modern phone off the car — a standard cigarette adaptor will trickle where this will actually charge. Run the feed off an ignition-switched fuse unless you specifically want it live with the key out, and use a fuse tap rather than piggybacking a spade terminal.
