Standalone Electric A/C Evaporator - Heating & Cooling

This is the evaporator unit on its own - the part that mounts inside the cabin and blows air through your vents, giving you both electric cooling and engine-fed heating in one unit. Perfect if you've already got the compressor, condenser and wiring sorted and just need the indoor unit, or if you're replacing a faulty evaporator on an existing setup.

Important - how the heating works: The heating side of this evaporator is not electric. It uses a built-in heater core that draws hot coolant from your engine's cooling system - the same way a factory heater works. Cooling is handled by the electric A/C coil, but heat comes from the engine, so this option is best suited to vehicles with an available engine coolant circuit (not caravans or trailers, which have no coolant source to draw from).

Two mounting styles available:

• Under-Dash Mount - has its own vent face built in, blows air directly into the cabin. Simple, visible install, no ducting required.
• Behind-Dash Mount - a hide-away style unit designed to sit out of sight behind your dash. Connects to standard 60mm ducting so you can run your own air outlets to wherever suits your build.
