Fire Extinguisher Roll Bar Mount – Quick Release Bracket

An extinguisher rolling around in the footwell is no use to anyone. This mount clamps it to your roll bar or sports bar where you can see it and reach it, and the pull knob lets it come free in a second when you actually need it.

Frequently asked questions

What size fire extinguisher will it hold?
It's made for the common vehicle sizes, roughly the 1 kg to 2 kg dry powder units most people carry. The larger clamps wrap a cylinder up to about 114 mm across.

How do I mount it to a roll bar?
Run the hose clamps through the bracket slots, around the bar and nip them up. Then clamp the extinguisher into the cradle side. No drilling needed.

Do I have to carry an extinguisher in my 4WD?
Not by law for most private cars in Australia, but it's cheap insurance for remote touring, and some events and work sites require one. Tucks Performance reckons every touring rig should have one within reach.
