Frequently asked questions

How many brackets do I need for my awning?
A 2 metre awning is normally fine on two. Bigger awnings, 2.5 metres and up, are better on three so they don't sag or flog about on the road.

Will it fit my roof rack?
If your rack has a channel, slot or flat bar you can put a bolt through, it should go on. The long slots give you plenty of adjustment for different bar spacing.

What does the gas strut do?
It takes the weight as the bracket folds, so the awning moves smoothly instead of dropping. Handy when you're doing it on your own at the end of a long day.
