Folding Door Latch Step – Roof Rack Access Foot Peg

Can't reach the middle of the roof rack without climbing on the tyre? This little step hooks onto your door striker and gives you a solid foothold to load the rack, tie down a kayak or wash the roof. Folds up small enough to live in the door pocket.

Frequently asked questions

Will a door latch step damage my door?
The hook sits on the steel striker, which is built to take far more load than you'll put on it. The rubber pad stops it rubbing the paint. Just keep the door open while you're standing on it.

Does it fit every car?
If your door closes onto a U-shaped striker loop, it'll fit. Most modern cars, utes and 4WDs use this type.

How much weight can it hold?
It's rated to 150 kg, so plenty for a big bloke with a jerry can in one hand.
