Tailgate Release Switch - LandCruiser 200 Series & Lexus LX570

Rear tailgate release switch for the LandCruiser 200 Series and Lexus LX570. The little button above the number plate that stops working long before anything else on the car does.

What you get:

• 1x tailgate release switch
• Plug-in replacement using the factory connector

Fits: Toyota LandCruiser 200 Series and Lexus LX570. OE reference 84840-28040.

Water gets past the rubber boot on the back of these and corrodes the contacts. If the remote still opens the tailgate but the button does not, the switch is the fault rather than the actuator. Put a smear of dielectric grease on the new connector while you are in there.

Note: Aftermarket replacement, not a genuine Toyota part. Confirm the OE reference against your existing switch. 12-month warranty.
