Anyone who has driven the Barkly in summer knows what a radiator core looks like packed solid with insects. Fit the mesh in front of the condenser, not hard against it, and pull it out for a hose every few thousand kilometres — a blocked mesh causes the exact overheating it was meant to prevent.
