Clean up the cut end of braided hose where you are using hose barbs or push-on fittings instead of AN hose ends. The finisher clamps over the braid so it cannot fray, and gives the line a tidy, finished look.

What is a hose finisher for?
It covers the cut end of braided hose so the stainless braid does not fray and cut your hands, and it makes a barb or push-on join look like a proper AN fitting.
Does a hose finisher seal the hose?
No. It is a cover. Use a proper hose clamp or barb fitting underneath to seal the join.
