Watch out for trackers sold as "no subscription" or "lifetime tracking". Most of them only mean the app is free. You still have to buy your own SIM and pay for data every month, usually $10 to $15 a vehicle, which is $600 to $900 per vehicle over five years.
Full fleet tracking services cost even more. Industry pricing guides put basic fleet tracking in Australia at $13 to $25 per vehicle per month before hardware, and most of it is locked to a 36-month contract with exit fees of $100 to $500 a device. Common Questions
Is there really nothing else to pay?
No. $299 covers the tracker, the SIM, five years of data and five years of platform access. No monthly fee, no card on file, nothing more to pay for five years.
Do I need to buy my own SIM card?
No. The SIM is already fitted with five years of data loaded. That's the big difference between us and most "no subscription" trackers, which make you buy your own SIM and pay for data every month, for every vehicle.
What happens after five years?
If you want to keep going, it's $99 per tracker for another five years of data and platform access. That's under $1.70 a month. Or stop there. There's no contract, so it's up to you.
How many vehicles can I put on one account?
As many as you like. There's no limit. Every tracker you buy from us goes under the one account, so the whole fleet sits on a single map.
Does it work on 12V and 24V?
Yes. It runs on 9V to 35V through the OBD port, so it suits cars, utes, vans and 24V trucks with an OBD port.
What warranty do I get?
3 years. If it's faulty, we replace it.
Is delivery free? Can I return it?
Yes. Delivery is free Australia-wide, and you've got 30 days to return it.
Where's the OBD port?
Under the dash on the driver's side, usually near the knee or above the pedals. If your vehicle was built from about 1996 on, it has one.
Can a driver just unplug it?
They can — it's a plug. But the GS22 has an unplug alarm and its own internal battery, so the moment it comes out you get an alert with the time and the location. If you'd rather it couldn't be found at all, our hidden hardwired GS900 is the one to look at.
Do I have to tell my staff?
Yes. In Australia you need to let employees know their work vehicle is tracked. Most operators put it in writing once and that's the end of it.
Can I move it between vehicles?
Yes — that's the main reason people choose this one over the hardwired version. Unplug, plug into the next vehicle, done.
