Perished door seals are where dust gets in on a corrugated road and where you get that whistle at highway speed. On a 120 this age the rubber has usually gone hard and taken a set, so it no longer springs back against the door.

A full set of four means all doors seal evenly, which matters more than it sounds – replacing one door's seal often just moves the noise to the next one.
