Will they hold up on corrugated roads?
Use two clamps per tool and keep the tool snug in the jaws. The ribbed strap locks in notches so it won't work loose easily.

How do I mount them to a roof rack?
Bolt through the holes in the base into the rack slots or a flat bar. On round tube you can strap them on with cable ties.

What size handles do they suit?
Standard shovel and axe handles fit well. Very thin or very thick handles may need a wrap of tape or a different clamp size.
