They suit crossbars and platforms with a top or side T-slot channel. Measure the slot opening and check whether your rack takes an M6 or M8 square nut before ordering.

M6 or M8, which one?
M8 has the bigger nut and thread and suits most 4WD platforms and heavier loads. M6 suits narrower slots on car crossbars and accessory rails.

How much can I tie down to them?
Treat them as tie-down points for straps and nets, not lifting points. Stay inside your roof rack and vehicle roof load ratings at all times.
