Outer Window Weatherstrip Set (4pc) - Hilux 1997-2003

Outer window belt rubbers for the Hilux – the scraper seals that run along the outside of the door glass. They keep water out of the door cavity and cut wind noise at highway speed.

These are the rubbers that harden, crack and lift away after twenty-odd years in the Australian sun. Once they stop sealing, water runs down the inside of the glass and sits in the bottom of the door – which is exactly how door skins rust from the inside out. Worth replacing before it becomes panel work.

Fitting tip: clean the channel out properly first and leave the windows alone for 24 hours afterwards so everything beds in.
