❄️ Please note: supplied un-gassed. This unit does not come pre-gassed with R134a refrigerant. The compressor does come pre-filled with oil, so no oil needs to be added. Once it's installed, it will need to be vacuumed, leak-tested and gassed with R134a. Most auto electricians and auto A/C shops can do this for you.

Z-1600 12V / 24V Split System Air Conditioner for Trucks and Custom Fit-Outs
The one for awkward installs. The compressor and condenser are separate units, each in its own black metal housing, so you put them wherever you've got room: under the chassis, behind the cab, wherever suits. Inside, you pick the indoor unit that fits your cabin.
Made for trucks, sleeper bunks, motorhomes and heavy machinery. Every unit is lab tested and goes through a full quality check before it leaves the factory.

Where can I mount the compressor and condenser?
Wherever you've got room. They're separate, so one can go under the chassis and the other behind the cab, or both together. Check the sizes above against your space.
Which indoor unit should I pick?
FS600, FS1800 and FS460 are wall mounts. FS650 is the roof mount. Sizes are in the table above. Send us a photo of where it's going and we'll help you pick.
How many amps does it draw?
Rated at 42 to 60 A. The variable-speed control backs the compressor off as the cabin cools, so the draw drops once it's on top of the heat.
Will it flatten my batteries?
It has a low-voltage cutoff that shuts it down before your batteries go too low.
Should I get 12V or 24V?
Match your vehicle. Trucks are usually 24V. Campers, vans and utes are usually 12V. 24V runs on half the amps.
Does it come gassed?
No. It ships dry for safety. Your A/C tech vacuums and gasses it after install.
Who installs it?
We don't install. Any licensed A/C technician can fit it.
What warranty do I get?
3 years on the compressor and 1 year on the rest of the unit.
