Does it need power?
No. It spins with the wind or as you drive, so there's nothing to wire up.

How do I install it?
Drill an 80 mm hole, seal around it with a quality roof sealant, then fit the mounting plate and vent with the screws supplied.

Will it let rain in?
The covered rotor is designed to shed rain. Seal the base well and fit it on a flat section of roof.
